A Midsummer Night's Dream

Eve Van Scott’s costume collection resurrects Shakespeare’s classic tale of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. The collection exists in a fantastical time period of its own fusing present day fashion with that of seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth century France. Using a multitude of vintage prints, textures, and manipulation techniques each garment evokes pure individuality redefining the characters of Lysander, Hermia, Helena, and Demetrius. Each silhouette strengthens and complements one another elevating the romance and tones of each personality.
